Commentary
B5 size speaker system using metal cone.
The low range is equipped with 20 cm metal cone woofer L-205.
The diaphragm of this unit consists of two 70-micrometer-thick aluminum-alloy cones with foamed resin sandwiched between them in a 2 mm-thick villa structure. It is lightweight and has high rigidity. It also employs a peak control circuit for controlling the main high-frequency resonance and a ギャザードエッジ for realizing an amplitude with a margin of ± 6.5 mm.
The magnetic circuit is equipped with a Lo-D actuator to reduce distortion.
A 3.5 cm sailor cap type tweeter MH-35 using a titanium diaphragm is mounted in the high range.
