Commentary
An FM/AM tuner designed to be combined with SQ707.
A high-frequency amplifier circuit using FET is adopted in the front end section to improve sensitivity and stability against spurious characteristics such as cross modulation and excessive input.
This is combined with a 4-row varicon to ensure sufficient selectivity.
The intermediate-frequency amplifier circuit combines a high-gain IC and a ceramic filter with square-wave selectivity characteristics to ensure stable performance with little secular change.
The multiplex circuit uses a switching method.
We have also improved the separation characteristics by adding a cross-talk cancellation circuit that cancels out the leakage from the left and right signals to the reverse channel.
The AM tuner consists of two stages : a frequency conversion stage and a wide-band intermediate frequency amplification stage. By applying a strong AGC to these stages, the generation of distortion is suppressed even in the case of excessive input in a strong electric field.
Equipped with a pure electronic muting circuit.
Equipped with a noise filter, it can remove high-frequency noise generated when receiving an FM stereo broadcast transmission.
This circuit is a high-blend type and attenuates only high-frequency noise with little effect on frequency characteristics.
You can forcibly switch the FM stereo broadcast transmission to monaural for reception.
Equipped with two output terminals.
The front panel is made of aluminum material with hairline processing, and finished with white gold alumite dyeing.
Also, the dial face is made of smoked acrylic.
Heat-resistant high-impact styrol is used for the hood, and leather processing is applied on the surface to create a unique shape.
There was a special wood case sold separately.
