Commentary
FM/AM/TV tuner equipped with an optimum twin detector, etc.
High-sensitivity dual-gate MOS-FET is used for the front end part.
It also consists of carefully selected devices such as ceramic filters with excellent group delay characteristics and high-voltage type tuning varactors.
The T-117 is equipped with an optimal twin detector with both pulse count detection and PLL detection circuits.
Since the pulse count detection method has excellent linearity over a wide band, the input signal can be faithfully converted into the output waveform. On the other hand, the PLL detection method stabilizes the tuning by dividing the local oscillation frequency of the front end, comparing it with the reference frequency, and feeding back the difference to stabilize the tuning. This method is advantageous in the weak electric field.
Both of these circuits are mounted and used according to the radio wave condition to enable stable reception.
Equipped with auto-tuning function of IF count method.
Since the IF frequency is directly counted by the microcomputer during tuning, it is possible to tune with high precision within ± 10 khz for FM and ± 3 khz for AM.
The TV tuner section supports sound multiplex broadcasting.
The split-carrier detection method eliminates the possibility of buzzing due to video signals or sound quality degradation due to intermodulation.
A 24 station random preset station memory is installed, and each FM/AM/TV station can store up to 24 stations.
Equipped with timer program function.
With this function, if you repeatedly turn the power ON/OFF using an external timer, you can call up the stored stations from 1 to 5 in order. This function enables long-time multi-station out-of-band recording exceeding FM/AM/TV and band.
Equipped with a birdie noise canceler and a pilot canceler.
By canceling the stereo pilot signal and its harmonic components, the high-frequency separation and frequency characteristics have been greatly improved compared to the conventional filter operation.
The system remote control terminal I/O is mounted, and by combining the AV surround controller F-105, the T-117 can be operated with the F-105 remote control.
Equipped with IF band switching function of Wide and Narrow.
Equipped with 400 Hz reference level REC CAL function.
Equipped with center tuning indicator and 4-dot signal strength indicator.
