PDK131
Commentary

This player kit is a kit of Luxman's analog player PD131.

The turntable is made of aluminum die-cast.
The PDK131 is designed to be as heavy as possible while taking into consideration not only the required inertial mass but also the resonance and strength of the motor bearings and parts.

A bayonet mount type arm base is adopted for the arm base, and it is designed so that various arms can be replaced with one touch.
As for the arm base, only for SME is included as a standard, and there are other variations such as general use, exclusive for orthophone, exclusive for other, and unprocessed arm base.

The chassis uses an aluminum die-cast chassis of sufficient strength and weight, and the top panel uses a 3 mm anodized aluminum panel, which is held firmly in place with rubber and wooden frames for damping.

A 3-layer structure insulator is used for the leg part.
In this insulator, the spring is dumped with rubber and the entire body is dumped with silicon grease to achieve both the compliance and braking necessary for vibration isolation.

The strobe displays the number of revolutions by flashing a black light pulse and also identifies the power supply frequencies by color (60 hz : yellow, 50 hz : yellow-green).

The power switch uses a micro switch.

Dust cover is sold separately for PDK131.

There is a mat for the record player as an optional item sold separately, and you can effectively dump the resonance of the record.
