Distortion Analyzer Kit.
High sensitivity strain rate meter can be constructed by combining with M-2V or M-8M, or commercially available high sensitivity AC volt meter.
In particular, when combined with a high-sensitivity AC volt meter such as M-2V, it becomes a full-scale distortion meter with a maximum sensitivity of 0.01%. It is capable of measuring up to 0.0018% distortion rate, which is equivalent to the distortion meter for general amplifier development and adjustment.
The fundamental wave removal filter uses a twin T-type filter, which is well known for its characteristics. In addition, the removal capability is improved by making it a two stage connection, and measurement by manual tuning is possible by using a two stage filter.
Low distortion and low noise impedance converter with discrete configuration is adopted, and high input impedance of 100k Ω in all range is realized.
For measuring the distortion factor, a dummy load is required, especially for power amplifiers, so M-4D comes with a manganin wire that can be used to create an 8 Ω dummy load.
The manganin wire is a special wire used as a standard resistance wire, and a dummy load can be easily manufactured by using an empty bottle.
The panel knob layout gives priority to functional aspects.
