Commentary
AC volt meter adapter kit of measuring instrument series.
High sensitivity AC volt meter (millibar) function can be obtained by using M-8M or DC meter of commercial tester.
It can be used as a highly sensitive voltmeter covering a wide range from 1 mV to 300 V maximum, and can be used for waveform observation with a oscillograph.
You can also measure the specifications of an audio amplifier by combining it with various measuring instruments.
In general, a tester rectifies AC voltage into DC voltage and swings a DC meter. The M-2V uses only the DC meter part of the tester with a built-in rectifier that is much higher in performance than the tester.
The circuit configuration is the same as that of a full-scale AC voltmeter, and high sensitivity is obtained.
The attenuator uses a precision resistor to improve reliability.
