LUXKIT A506

Commentary

A500 series 2-way channel divider kit.

A506 does not include CR parts for cut-off frequency. By combining a separately sold filter, the desired cut-off frequency value can be selected.
The filter is based on a Bessel type with no peak and excellent phase characteristics.

The filter section is provided on a separate substrate, and two types of Bessel type and one type of Butterworth type can be selected for attenuation characteristics.
Separately sold CR506L and CR506H are Bessel type and set with CR that can configure 2 types of filters of -18dB/oct and -24dB/oct. In addition, by attaching desired parts, Butterworth type can configure attenuation characteristics of -12dB/oct.

It is equipped with a volume that can be continuously changed up to -10dB, and -10/-20dB attenuators that can be used separately for left and right channels, Low and High. It can be used in combination for fine level adjustment.
The k-curve is used for the volume change characteristics, and the rotation angle and attenuation are matched.

The power supply consists of separate left and right winding transformers and separate rectifier circuits to minimize crosstalk.

A506 is a 2-way type, but it can be used in 3 or 4 ways by combining 2 or 3 units.
