Commentary

A500 series power amplifier kit.

The A504 can be manufactured in four operation modes : pure A class, AB class, stereo and monaural.

All stages are push-pull configuration. High power is achieved by using triple push-pull configuration for the output stage. In addition, by installing duo-beta circuit which combines DC servo and appropriate NFB, excellent characteristics, high dynamic characteristics and slew rate of 200 v / μ sec are achieved.

The power supply section contains a large cut-core power transformer with a capacity of 800 VA and block capacitors with a total capacity of 60,000 μ F.
In addition, a large audio heat pipe is installed for each channel to dissipate heat from the output stage.

Uses parts such as film capacitors with polarity display.
