Stereo power amplifier kit using 3-pole output tube 8045G for large output same as A3000.

All amplifier stages are designed with emphasis on bare characteristics, and excellent distortion factor characteristics are realized by multiplying major NF by 16 dB.

The 8045G was developed jointly by LAX and Shin-NEC in preparation for the high-power era. The plate electrode employs a five layer bonded metal plate with high heat radiation effect and an electrode structure with heat radiation fins, resulting in a plate loss of 45W.
The output transformer uses the newly developed OY15-3.6K-HP for the A3600. This transformer has the same appearance as the conventional OY15 type, but the handling capacity is increased to 50W for high power specifications. In addition, it reduces insertion loss and improves high-frequency characteristics.

The driver circuit employs a cathode-coupled phase-reversal circuit called the orthodox Mulard type, which provides high stability because of its large output voltage and large gain.
This circuit also uses 6240G developed for high-voltage drives. This ball is a twin triode with low internal resistance and Nakamashi width-ratio, and has high plate loss. It has excellent conditions as a driver tube for a high-power amplifier. In order to balance the gain of the upper and lower driver tubes, the A3600 has an appropriate difference in plate resistance. This circuit also has excellent conditions as a driver tube for a high-power amplifier.

6AQ8 with low internal resistance and high amplification factor is adopted in the first stage. By keeping the impedance of the plate circuit sufficiently low, deterioration of high-frequency characteristics is prevented, and the phase correction circuit which deteriorates the distortion factor in high-frequency characteristics is eliminated, and excellent high-frequency distortion factor characteristics are obtained.
