LUXMAN SQ11
¥ 32,000 (released in June 1963)
Commentary
Pre-main amplifier with all-transistor configuration.
An all-transistor configuration has been adopted to realize an OTL circuit that does not use an output transformer, which is difficult with vacuum tubes.
The SQ11 uses a special feedback circuit that automatically controls the excess current to prevent the transistor from being destroyed.
In addition, a heat sink with a high heat radiation effect and a ventilation hole area are sufficient to cope with heat.
It is equipped with functions such as a rumble filter, a scratch filter, a loudness control and a phase switching function.
Equipped with a universal terminal that can be used when the main amplifier and preamp are used independently or when using a reverb amplifier, etc.
