LV-117
Commentary

An integrated amplifier with built-in D/A converter developed as a successor to the LV 109.

Digital input is supported by built-in D/A converter.
As a result, the digital signal can be transmitted directly to the power amplifier, taking advantage of the lossless transmission that is the advantage of the digital system.
The LV 117 uses a versatile interface format that supports both coaxial and optical systems.

The power amplifier section consists of an all-FET differential amplifier circuit for the voltage amplifier section. By using a voltage-controlled amplifier, interference between each amplifier stage and various distortions caused by signal current are reduced.
A bipolar transistor Darlington circuit is used for the output stage to ensure sufficient current gain and high input impedance.

Equipped with line straight function, all functions except input selector can be jumped and directly connected to power amplifier.
This feature improves sound clarity by disabling tone circuits, mode functions, balance functions, and so on.

It is equipped with Route 3 image input that supports visual sources such as Hi-Fi VTR and video disc.
The LV 117 has a built-in video buffer amplifier to support high-quality reproduction. In addition, the front is equipped with a video input terminal that can be switched with a switch to improve convenience.
