Commentary
Q series tall boy type speaker system with UNI-Q driver.
Two 16 cm cone type woofers made of polypropylene cone are installed in the lower range.
These units are tuned differently to adjust the volume of the enclosure and the bass reflex port.
A UNI-Q driver consisting of a 16 cm polypropylene cone type woofer and a 1.9 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the middle and high ranges.
In the UNI-Q driver, two units, a cone-type driver and a soft-dome tweeter, are not only made into a coaxial structure, but also placed at exactly the same point with respect to the position of the diaphragm in the depth direction so that the phases between the units are aligned.
In addition, neodymium iron boron, which has 10 times the energy of ferrite, is adopted for the magnetic circuit of the tweeter section, which realizes the miniaturization of the tweeter unit.
Each unit is provided with a magnetic shielding to reduce the influence on the CRT.
The enclosure is a tall boy type and has an ash black finish on the exterior.
