KEF Model104aB(SP1038)
Price unknown (1 unit, released in 1976)
Commentary
A speaker system that replaces the Model104.
The model name aB is an abbreviation of acoustic Butterworth.
In the previous model, the crossover network was designed based on the electrical response of the filter. However, in the Model104aB, more accurate sound roll-off is realized by optimizing the network in consideration of the combination with the unit.
The unit is equipped with a cone-type woofer B200 and an elliptical-planar passive radiator BD139 for low-frequency use.
In addition, a dome-shaped tweeter T27 is mounted in the high range.
The enclosure has a cheek finish.
