Commentary
Biradial horn with optimized and aperture design.
In the optimized Aperture Design, a dedicated compression driver was developed at the same time to connect the horn throat directly to the driver phase plug to optimize system performance. This reduces the generation of second and third harmonics and provides output with less distortion at high power. In addition, the high flare ratio prevents the high-frequency range from becoming a beam, enabling excellent directional control.
It also simplifies cluster design and improves lowing and sizing issues.
The main body is made of plastic reinforced with fiberglass to keep strength while reducing weight and eliminate resonance.
