Commentary
A 46 cm cone type woofer unit with rate and high linearity design developed for 4-way monitor 4345 which supports digital recording.
The basic structure such as SFG magnetic circuit and sturdy aluminum die-cast frame is equivalent to 2240H, but the vibration meter design is different.
In the 2245H, the voice coil winding width is extended to 24 mm, and the weight and density are optimized by applying a special damping material on the back side of the cone paper with a high-compliance roll edge. These features expand the low-frequency playback range while maintaining high input-resistance up to 600W and linearity.
