Commentary
XTi Series bookshelf speaker system with hexagonal enclosure.
A 16.5 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
Pulp cone with corrugation rib is used for the diaphragm, and bent pole piece is used for the magnetic circuit to suppress dynamic compression.
A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range. This unit uses pure titanium diaphragm and aluminum voice coil.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
This enclosure has a one piece structure that seamlessly integrates the front and side and the rear and side. It is a hexagonal enclosure consisting of four pieces (top, bottom, front side and rear side) that minimizes internal planarization and reduces internal standing waves.
It supports bi-wiring and bi-amplifier connections.
The speaker terminal uses a gold-plated binding post type for banana plugs.
There was a speaker stand as an option sold separately.
