Commentary
This 3-way speaker system realizes more accurate sound localization and rich musical expression by making full use of the latest technology.
The low range is equipped with 128H which is a 30 cm cone type woofer.
This unit uses a unique low-distortion magnetic circuit and a traditional Faraday loop to improve low-frequency characteristics. It also uses cone paper coated with a white coating of optimum mass and rigidity and a large-diameter, precision-machined voice coil to enhance low-frequency reproduction.
The mid-range is equipped with a highly responsive 13 cm cone type Skoker LE5-12 using 3 d photographic image by laser light. This unit is composed of hard cone paper and 2.2 cm diameter large voice coil, etc., and realizes excellent transient response.
Mounting in a fully enclosed back cavity prevents rear interference with the woofer.
A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter 044 is installed in the high range.
A phenol diaphragm with aluminum vapor deposition is used as the diaphragm for smooth reproduction even out of the audible band.
The unit arrangement of the front baffle adopts a symmetrical mirror image pair configuration to realize a clearer sound image.
