Commentary
This speaker system was developed by inheriting JBL's know-how in making professional and home speaker systems.
A 16.5 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm uses a polypropylene coating diaphragm with a pulp base laminated with a high polymer composite material.
A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm uses a pure titanium vapor-deposited diaphragm to obtain high efficiency and high input resistance at low distortion rate.
The enclosure is a bass-reflex type with a walnut finish for the J216A and a black finish for the J216Pro.
In addition, the net grill on the front has adopted a floating grill to reduce the deterioration of sound quality when it is mounted, and the frame is made to float from the baffle.
