EVEREST DD55000
Commentary

This is the first large speaker system of Project Everest that was developed as a speaker that transcends the eternal masterpiece Paragon.

The DD55000 was designed and developed by a project team based on the two major themes of expanding the service area of accurate stereo images and greatly expanding the dynamic range. The project team confirmed the basic acoustic theory going back to Paragon and Hartsfield, and analyzed sound using the latest technologies such as computers.

The low range is equipped with a 38 cm cone type woofer, 150 to 4 h.

The mid-range is equipped with a horn type mid-range that combines driver unit 2425H and HF horn 2346 1.
The horn used in this unit was designed based on the results obtained by implementing the Differentiated Coverrange Horn, which is the culmination of JBL's horn technology, in the JBL Pro Machine 4660. It realizes an excellent stereo effect with an asymmetrical trapezoidal radiation pattern generated from a complex curve.

A horn type tweeter, 2405H, is installed in the high frequency range.

The enclosure is designed with a bass-reflex, and the units are arranged so that the 2425H and 150 h are arranged at 30 ° angle and the 2405H is arranged at 60 ° angle toward the front to provide a wide service area.
