Commentary
This speaker system was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of JBL and the 10th anniversary of the Control Series.
Only the commemorative model is tuned so that you can enjoy the sound of the original model Control1 even more straight.
A 13 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
It uses a diaphragm laminated with a high-polymer composite material on a JBL traditional pulp-based cone that is lightweight, highly rigid and has moderate internal loss, and a long voice coil is used for the magnetic circuit.
A 2.5 cm balanced drive type tweeter is installed in the high range.
It combines a semi-dome cone with a center dome to optimize response and directivity. In addition, a unique diaphragm structure that combines heat-resistant polymer film with a voice coil bobbin reduces distortion.
It is a magnetic resistant design.
The network section has a simple and straight configuration.
In addition, a protector is provided to protect the unit from excessive input.
The cabinet uses a bass reflex system.
It uses a silver gray metallic grill logo which is only a memorial model.
By using the separately sold speaker bracket, setting to ceiling or wall is possible.
