JBL B380
¥ 170,000 (1 unit, around 1984)
Commentary
A subwoofer developed by inheriting the technology of B460.
The unit is equipped with a 38 cm cone type woofer.
The enclosure has an internal volume of 127 liters and is designed with a bass reflex.
The BX63 channel divider developed for the B460 can be used.
The BX63 allows only the low frequency component to pass through and combines the LR signal into a driving signal. In addition, the BX63 is equipped with positive-phase and negative-phase output terminals so that it can be driven as a high-power mono amplifier by bridging a normal stereo power amplifier.
From around 1985, BX63A, which is an improved version of BX63, was sold.
