Commentary
A speaker system for mid - and high-range reproduction of the concert series.
The 4860 is the base model for the 4860 speaker family.
In addition to the 4860, there are 3 variations of the 4860 speaker family, 4861, 4862 and 4863, each of which has a different unit configuration.
The 4860 is equipped with a 2380A biradial horn with 90 ° horizontal directional characteristics and a 2445J with a 4-inch diameter titanium diaphragm.
The enclosure uses high density birch laminated plywood with no gaps. The surface treatment of glass fiber reinforced plastic ensures excellent durability. The top, bottom, and side surfaces are cut into 15 ° tapered shapes, and both 4847 low frequency speakers and fan-shaped arrays can be configured, making it useful for multi-way hanging.
Equipped with 8 embedded metal fittings for flying.
The Concert Series included a wide range of specialized options, including a carrying load case and various speaker mounting brackets.
