Commentary
This is a speaker system for the ultra low band of the concert series.
The 4842 is a double-driver bass reflex type ultra-low frequency speaker designed for SR and sound reproduction in various fields.
It can be used in combination with the 4845 Ultra-Low Frequency speaker to further enhance the low frequency range, and can also be used to enhance the low frequency range of the 4870 family.
The unit is equipped with 2 pieces of 2245H which are 46 cm cone type woofer, and the connection to the high range is improved by placing the unit close.
The enclosure uses high-density birch-laminated plywood, combined with a glass-fiber-reinforced plastic coating on the surface for excellent durability.
Pieces of embedded metal fittings for flying and 5 pieces of handles are equipped as standard.
The connector is equipped with ITT Canon EP-8 type male and female (bi-amplifier specification).
The Concert Series included a wide range of specialized options, including a carrying load case and various speaker mounting brackets.
