JBL 4401
¥ 62,000 (1 unit, released in 1982)
Commentary
A compact monitor speaker developed by condensing JBL's professional technology.
A 17 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses an SFG magnetic circuit to significantly reduce the second harmonic distortion. In addition, the mass is controlled by the long voice coil with enhanced linearity and the Lancer Plus-coated cone to enhance the low-frequency reproduction capability despite being small.
A dome type tweeter using a hard diaphragm made of lightweight phenol with aluminum vapor deposition is adopted for the high frequency range.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system and is designed to be level-controlled with a grill cloth attached.
Wall mounting and console mounting can be performed by using the optional mounting frame sold separately.
