Commentary
This 4-way speaker system inherits the technology developed in 4350.
The 4340 uses a multi-amplifier system and the 4341 uses a network system.
It has a 38 cm cone Woofer 2231A in the low range and a 25 cm cone Woofer 2121 in the middle and low range.
A horn-type mid-range combining a driver 2420, an exponential horn 2307, and an acoustic lens 2308 is installed in the mid-range region, and a horn-type tweeter 2405 is installed in the high-range region.
Each unit features an Alnico V magnet, an edge-wound ribbon voice coil, and a gap. The mid-low band unit 2121 was newly developed for the 4340/4341 and features a strong magnet assembly with a magnetic flux density of 10,000 gauss and a weight of 2.9 kg to improve sound quality.
The directional characteristics are 60 ° horizontal and 30 ° vertical at 16 kHz.
You can adjust the levels of mid-low, mid-high, and high frequencies from the front panel.
The 4340 used in the multi-amplifier system requires a power amplifier, a divider 5231 or 5232 and a filter board 52 to 5140.
There were 2 kinds of variations, gray finish and walnut finish for each.
