Commentary
This bookshelf type speaker system is ideal for use in the adjustment and editing rooms of recording studios and broadcasting stations.
It is equipped with 25 cm cone type woofer LE10H in the low range.
This unit uses a strong and low-distortion magnetic circuit, and a unique damping agent is applied on the back side of the cone paper to provide both optimum mass and rigidity.
13 cm cone type Skoka LE5-9 with aluminum center dome is mounted in the middle area.
A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter 066 is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of phenol-impregnated linen coated with a proprietary aluminum-vapor-deposited film, and has excellent directional characteristics and transient characteristics. It is also uniquely molded to prevent unwanted reflections from the front of the unit.
Impedance correction circuit and phase compensation circuit are adopted in the network part to improve the characteristics.
The enclosure is made of 19 mm thick compressed material and has a bass-reflex structure.
In addition, the unit layout of the front baffle has been arranged vertically inline to improve sound image localization.
