Commentary
In order to further refine the sound quality of the 4312 Series, this speaker system uses original materials for the existing enclosure to realize clearer and higher quality sound.
2213H, a 30 cm cone type unit, is used for the low range.
For the magnetic circuit, JBL's original SFG magnetic circuit with low distortion factor is used, and for the diaphragm, cone paper coated with special reinforcement material is used, and a clear low sound with effective damping is obtained.
In addition, the rigidity is improved by adopting aluminum die cast for the frame.
The 104H-3 which is a 13 cm cone type unit is mounted in the middle area.
035 ti, pure titanium tweeter, is installed in the high-frequency range.
Pure titanium is molded into a precision dome with a thickness of 25 μ m. Vivid sound quality is realized by combination with diamond edge suspension to improve high frequency characteristics and rib pattern to prevent split vibration.
Equipped with an attenuator that can control each of the mid-range and high-range.
First of all, the front particle board of the enclosure is laminated with JBL's unique high-density material "Reaction Molded Foam," which has excellent damping effect, to damp unwanted vibrations of the entire enclosure.
In addition, in order to reduce the primary reflection of the reproduced sound on the baffle surface, which had a slight adverse effect on the stereo image, "Neoplane foam" is used around the unit to minimize the degradation of sound quality due to the primary reflection sound especially in the middle and high range.
