Commentary
A compact monitor speaker developed for editing in broadcasting stations and studios.
It uses 116H which is a 20 cm cone type woofer for the low range.
It has been developed in strict pursuit of input resistance characteristics suitable for monitoring, and low distortion is being attempted.
In addition, it uses hard cone paper with corrugation with improved high-frequency characteristics, a precisely designed 5 cm diameter voice coil, pole piece, gap, and aluminum die-cast frame to achieve smoother frequency characteristics.
A 3.6 cm direct radiator LE26 is used for the high range.
By using hard cone paper and center dome, directional characteristics of horizontal and vertical 90 ° (10 khz) are realized.
The unit is wrapped in a tapered resinous material to enhance the compatibility with the baffle plate and improve directional and energy characteristics.
The network section takes into consideration phase characteristics and impedance correction.
The enclosure uses 19 mm thick high-density compressed material.
