Commentary
A speaker system developed by Dudley Harwood, improved up to Mark IV, Monitor HL, improved by Alan Shaw.
A 20 cm cone type woofer with TPX cone is used for the low range.
The edge uses a new material from U. S. Du Pont.
A 2.5 cm diameter aluminum hard dome type tweeter is used for the high frequency band.
For the enclosure, the internal reinforcement design has been improved and the sound absorbing material has been reconsidered. The baffle plate thickness of the front and rear has been increased to prevent sound wave diffraction, and the same natural wood decorative plate finish as the side plate has been used.
