Commentary

Quartz control belt drive player equipped with unique technology.

The turntable uses a belt drive system and the drive motor uses a microprocessor-based quartz control DC motor with speed detection.
The turntable uses a die-cast platter with a vibration tamping structure of 1.5 kg, combined with anti-resonance coating to realize clearer playback sound.

The tone arm is equipped with a gyroscope, gimbal and tone arm.
This tone arm has four bearings to support up, down, left and right movements. It is a point contact support system with a precision polishing finish. This makes it possible to follow changes and warpage of records, and realizes excellent traceability.
In addition, by adopting a dynamic balance system using a high precision spring, accurate needle pressure is maintained.

Equipped with OPS (Optimum Pivot System) in which the bearing support point of the tone arm is set low at the same height as the record surface.
When the support point is at the same height as the tone arm, the wow flutter deteriorates by ± 0.15% just by waving up and down 1.5 mm in the warp of the record. In CS5000, by adopting OPS, even if the arm swings up and down due to a record or vibration, the swing angle is kept small, so that there is almost no wow flutter.

Head shell with VTA (vertical tracking angle) adjustment mechanism is adopted for the head shell part.
The vertical tracking angle at which the best cartridge characteristics are obtained is between 20 and 25 degrees. If this angle is out of alignment, accurate tracing becomes difficult, distortion occurs, and stereo separation deteriorates.
The head shell of CS5000 can adjust the vertical tracking angle within ± 5 degrees just by operating the knob of the shell without changing the arm height.

3-speed switching is possible with an electronic switch.

Equipped with an auto lift-up mechanism, the arm will automatically be up at the end of the record.
This function is a non-contact detection method and does not affect the needle tip.

The cabinet is equipped with a floating chassis that floats the turntable and arm, reducing the influence of external vibration.
