Commentary
A direct drive player with a dual traditional straight arm.
The drive motor is different from CS-721.
The tone arm uses a straight arm in which the head shell and arm are integrated. The integrated structure eliminates resonance at the joint part of the universal head shell. In addition, the cartridge can be replaced simply by sliding the finger arm of the shell to the side, so that no excessive power is applied to the fulcrum.
In addition, the straight arm reduces the effective mass, and aluminum is used for the tone arm and special polymer material is used for the head shell to reduce the weight.
Counter weight with resonance filter is adopted.
This counterweight consists of two mechanical resonance filters. One filter absorbs very low-frequency vibrations of several hertz caused by warping of the record, and the other filter absorbs vibrations of several tens of hertz experienced by the entire chassis.
A 4-point gimbal support using ball bearings is used for the support mechanism.
The drive motor is a new type motor equipped with a control circuit using C-MOS IC.
The needle pressure adjustment mechanism uses a dynamic balance type.
In this system, the needle pressure is adjusted by a precise spiral spring, and it plays the same role as a car suspension, so that even if the record is warped, the needle pressure remains constant for the record.
Equipped with anti-skating mechanism to cancel inside force.
It can be adjusted according to the needle shape and needle pressure.
Equipped with a vertical tone arm control mechanism, it can be adjusted according to the cartridge so that the tone arm is parallel to the record plane.
Equipped with tone arm lowering speed adjustment mechanism, the lowering speed can be adjusted according to the needle pressure condition.
Equipped with the tone arm lowering position adjustment mechanism, the needle tip can be finely adjusted so that it comes down to the sound groove correctly.
