Commentary
An FM stereo tuner that servo lock and touch tuning system.
A dial scale and a 4-digit digital display have been incorporated to achieve both analog and digital channel selection. As a result, the channel selection accuracy has been improved by one digit.
In addition, an auto servo lock / touch tuning system has been adopted to facilitate channel selection operation. The servo lock circuit is automatically released when the knob is touched, and automatically operates when the knob is released.
The front end section is equipped with a frequency linear 5-row varicon to reduce cross modulation distortion.
With regard to local frequency stability, the servo-lock method suppresses the effects of temperature and humidity changes, enabling stable reception at all times.
The IF amplifier circuit is equipped with two systems, wideband and narrowband.
The wide band uses a ceramic filter with Ultra low latency characteristics to improve the distortion factor and separation, while the narrow band uses a linear phase ceramic filter with high selectivity characteristics to ensure a selectivity of more than 90 dB.
The MPX circuit is equipped with a pilot canceler circuit, which removes unnecessary pilot signals after demodulation into stereo signals, thereby achieving low distortion and high S/N ratio.
In addition, to improve the separation characteristics after stereo signal demodulation, DENON's original separation correction circuit is mounted to improve the separation characteristics over a wide range.
Equipped with a Just Tuning display that enables ultra-precise tuning by simple operation.
Built-in oscillator with a frequency of 440 Hz.
Equipped with two output circuits capable of direct recording.
