Commentary
FM stereo tuner equipped with drum type long scale dial.
In addition to a linear frequency 5-row varicon and one stage RF, a MOS FET with excellent noise characteristics is adopted for the front end section.
The IF amplifier uses a linear phase 8-element ceramic filter and LC circuit to improve the selectivity.
We have also improved the stereo distortion factor by adopting a wide-band ratio detection circuit and phase correction circuit.
In addition, high-gain amplification using highly integrated ICs and a 7-stage limiter prevent degradation of sound quality due to interference.
A dedicated intermediate frequency amplifier circuit is provided for sub-functions such as vertical multi-path terminals, muting, and signal meters to avoid the influence of these circuits.
Large level meters are installed on the left and right sides of the front panel. The left meter is used as a signal meter and the right meter is used as a multi-path meter.
The right meter not only measures the tuner output level tuner output level but also external audio voltage such as power amplifier output.
