Commentary

A compact 2-way speaker system with a super bus mount structure.
It is developed by integrating the enclosure technology cultivated in advanced equipment.

As with the SC-R88Z, we have further developed our policy of "only vibrating diaphragm" and adopted a super bus mount structure.
The structure locks the woofer of the aluminum die-cast integrated frame from the front and rear of the baffle board and the back door. By securely holding the center of gravity of the entire unit, vibration of the unit body and the board of the enclosure are prevented.

An 18 cm cone type woofer with a carbon olefin diaphragm mixed with chopped carbon fiber is used for the low range.
The magnetic circuit uses barium ferrite and consists of an aluminum die-cast integrated frame.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter cm dome type tweeter that uses a newly developed ceramic coated diaphragm with ceramic coating on both sides of aluminum foil.

Both the high-frequency and low-frequency magnetic circuits use a sealed parallel magnet system. The magnetic shielding design does not disturb TV or PC screens.

Applying the technology of the D.A. S. structural enclosure, the enclosure is equipped with a tapered special sound absorbing body under the top plate, diffusing and effectively absorbing harmful standing waves inside.
The enclosure is made of softwood high-density particle board, round baffle, and rear duct system.
Also, all 6 sides are finished with Bu-lucky wall wood-grain finish.
