Commentary
This speaker system was born from a collaboration with European sound engineers.
A 12 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm uses a double-layer cone. Based on detailed analysis using the finite element method, this unit is designed to provide the best performance in terms of the shape of adhesion between the primary cone, secondary cone, voice coil, thickness of cone paper, etc. This makes it possible to drive stably with reduced split vibration. In addition, by adopting a form that maintains uniform elasticity throughout the cone, it is designed so that the entire diaphragm can piston even at high frequencies for woofer.
The edge is also glued to the primary cone, eliminating the effect of edge resonance on the secondary cone that actually produces sound.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
In the network section, the woofer and tweeter are tuned to obtain the best phase matching.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
MDF is used for the board, and the vibration of the enclosure is measured and optimized by laser scanning.
