SC-F103SG
Commentary

European tune bookshelf speaker system with piano black finish.

The SC-F103SG is jointly developed by European sound designers and DENON. It incorporates the latest technology and materials as well as a sense of music.

At the basic design stage, thorough computer simulation is carried out to model as much as possible, and the completeness is thoroughly improved.
We also performed various analyses and adjustments, including hologram analysis, on the prototype, and repeated this work and trial listening to complete a high-quality speaker.

A 14 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A newly developed DDL (DENON Double Layer) cone is used for the diaphragm. It is composed of a two layer diaphragm whose structure has been determined by detailed simulation. It is lightweight yet has sufficient rigidity, and achieves accurate piston motion over a wide range. In addition, by designing the structure so that the resonance of the edge does not adversely affect the characteristics, it achieves higher quality sound reproduction.
In addition, by taking into consideration the design of the magnetic circuit, such as improving the vertical symmetry of the magnetic flux distribution and reducing magnetic distortion by the aluminum ring, we have achieved a more scaled sound.

A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The frame shape has been studied to flatten the radiation impedance, and a neodymium magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.

The unit frame is made of BMC (Bulk Mold Compound), a non-magnetic material, which supports the motion of the diaphragm without disturbing it and reduces the inherent squeal.

The network section is designed taking into consideration the energy and phase characteristics of the unit, the reflection of the cabinet, and the installation condition of the room. In addition to flattening the response in the passband, the network section is also designed taking into consideration the disturbance of the characteristics in the attenuation region.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system with ports on the back. A sound absorbing sponge is attached so that the duct can be tuned according to the installation condition and preference.
The exterior is painted with a glossy black piano finish to create a high-quality texture and natural sound similar to that of pianos and other musical instruments. In addition, by covering the surface of the casing with a hard paint made by repeated painting and polishing, sound transmission speed is improved and clearer music playback is achieved.

Uses a gold-plated speaker terminal that supports banana plugs.

Slip stopper made of natural cork is attached.
