Commentary
Speaker system using lumber core material.
Two 14.5 cm cone type woofers are mounted in the low range, and P. P. D. D. (Push-Pull Dual Driver) Serial method is adopted.
In this method, the driving force and vibration equivalent mass are doubled by push-pull driving of two woofers, and the low-frequency reproduction range is expanded. In addition, the harmonic distortion generated when the loudspeakers are driven is reduced by the two loudspeakers arranged back-to-back in the direction in which the nonlinear components cancel each other out.
In addition, the lowest resonance frequency can be lower than that of a single speaker for the same size cabinet volume, greatly improving low-frequency playback capability.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
It is designed with high sound quality, inheriting the concept of the E-series speaker system. It realizes genuine European sound by using OFC internal wiring materials and high-sound condenser.
The enclosure is made of lumber core material with more natural sound than conventional high-density MDF material. Carefully selected European birch is used for the board material, and the excellent acoustic characteristics unique to solid wood of natural wood are further enhanced by finishing with multiple painting processes.
A large gold-plated brass machined terminal compatible with banana plug is used for the input terminal.
Terminals can be used for bi-wiring.
