Commentary
This is a European sound speaker system descended from the SC 101.
The SC-CX101 is jointly developed by a European sound designer and DENON.
At the basic design stage, we perform as much modeling as possible from the part level through detailed computer simulation, and thoroughly improve the completeness of basic characteristics.
A 12 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A newly developed DDL (DENON Double Layer) cone is used for the vibration plate, and by ensuring sufficient rigidity while being lightweight by the two layer vibration plate, accurate piston motion over a wide band is realized.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
A silk-based diaphragm is used, and a ventilation hole is provided to keep the centering of the diaphragm constant.
The magnetic circuit uses neodymium magnet with high magnetic force and low distortion.
We have also adopted a newly developed frame shape to flatten the radiation impedance.
Non-magnetic aluminum die-cast frame is used for the frame of each unit.
The surface has a baking coating to reduce the inherent squeal, and the back of the woofer is fixed to the enclosure with a brace to ensure adequate rigidity without losing the natural sound.
The basic design of the network section takes into consideration the energy and phase characteristics of the unit, the reflection of the enclosure, and the installation condition of the room, and pursues uniform sound pressure and phase response.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
The opening of the bass reflex port has an integrated structure with a machined back plate to ensure sufficient strength and suppress singing and port noise.
18 mm thick MDF is used for the plate material, and the exterior is semi-gloss finished with natural wood veneer.
The terminal section uses a gold plated brass machined by-wiring terminal.
Comes with a transparent insulating cover.
It comes with a sound absorbing sponge that can tune the bass reflex port according to the installation situation and preference.
It also comes with an AK-1000 (3mx2), which is sold separately as a speaker cable, and a similar AK-1000 cable for by-wire short-circuit (short-circuit cables are installed in the terminals at the time of shipment).
Slip stopper made of natural cork is attached.
