Commentary
A speaker system that realizes wide-range playback by further developing and improving the SuperBoy101 (SC-101).
A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The material, support system and drive system have been renewed, and North European pulp is used for the cone paper, and it is finished into a light and strong diaphragm.
In the voice coil part, aluminum bobbin with excellent heat dissipation and coil treated with high heat resistance are adopted.
A 2.5 cm hard dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
In order to obtain high rigidity, light weight and appropriate internal loss, an alpha-boron diaphragm is used for the diaphragm. Excellent physical properties such as rigidity approximately 3 times that of a titanium diaphragm and internal loss approximately 10 times that of a conventional metal diaphragm are obtained.
A level control is provided for the high-frequency band.
Hard particle board is used for the enclosure and it is contained in a compact size.
The woofer is firmly fixed to the 18 mm thick baffle plate with 8 bolts.
