Commentary

A 2-way speaker system that uses an α -Boron tweeter.

A 26 cm cone type woofer is used for the low range.
The diaphragm is made polymer material for the diaphragm, light weight and appropriate internal loss are secured. In addition, by adopting a concentric corrugation rib developed by vibration analysis, rigidity about twice as high as that of a flat cone made of the same material is obtained.
In addition, excellent power linearity is obtained by the adoption of large flat damper and strong magnetic circuit, and vibration is suppressed by the aluminum die-cast frame of high rigidity structure.
In addition, 8 mm bolts and nuts are used to fix the baffle firmly in 8 places, eliminating the low-range cover.

A 2.5 cm hard dome type tweeter using α -Boron diaphragm is adopted for the high range.
This diaphragm is made by fusing and accelerating two substances (boron compound and alumina particles) with hardness second only to diamond by ultra-high temperature plasma jet on the surface of an aluminum metal foil of only 30 microns, and fusing them to a thickness of 20 microns. Although it is lightweight, its rigidity is about 3 times that of a titanium diaphragm, and its internal loss is about 10 times that of a metal diaphragm. These characteristics are close to the ideal diaphragm.

The enclosure has a black finish with a rigid particle board.
In order to bring out the characteristics of the 26 cm woofer, the cabinet material, structure, size, etc. were determined through measurement and listening test. The internal volume is 40L, and combined with the adoption of the optimally designed duct, good low sound characteristics are obtained.

The Sa RUNNET is made of a special knit fabric of monsoon grey.

A level control is provided for the high-frequency band.
