Commentary
A 3-way speaker system equipped with a 30 cm large woofer.
A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm is reduced in weight and the total dynamic mass (equivalent mass) is reduced to 40g to improve the response.
The voice precision aluminum bobbin is used for the voice coil and specially treated with a newly developed adhesive that can withstand high temperatures of over 200 ° C. As a result, the voice coil is resistant to temperature rises caused by continuous large input and has improved input resistance.
The mid-range is equipped with the same 10 cm cone type squaker as the high-grade SC-307.
The back cavity and frame are integrated with light alloy die-cast structure to reduce back pressure from woofer and realize clear medium sound reproduction.
Two 5 cm cone type tweeters, same as SC-307, are installed in the high range.
By adopting the twin drive system, the linearity range in the high-frequency range has been expanded to approximately double.
It is equipped with level control for middle and high range.
A sandwich support system is adopted for mounting of the woofer and tweeter, and interference between units is reduced by fixing the whole circumference of each unit with uniform force.
