Commentary

Active subwoofer with LF Direct circuitry.

It has an LF Direct circuit that can pass through the subwoofer's crossover and level control circuits.
In a multi-channel amplifier such as an AV amplifier, bus management and level control circuits are set to distribute signals to satellite speakers and sub-woofers. The LF Direct circuit eliminates phase distortion and signal degradation on the sub-woofer side, enabling more faithful reproduction of the signals distributed on the amplifier side.

The unit is equipped with two 20 cm cone type woofers and is driven by P. P. D. D method.
In the P. P.D. D. method, one edge of a pair of woofer is mounted in the opposite direction so that harmonic distortion is cancelled out by each other, thereby achieving low-frequency playback with less distortion and a sense of volume.
The woofer unit has a double suspension damper, and combined with the P. P. D. D. system and the use of a special rubber edge with excellent damping effect, it realizes a low distortion bass sound that is strong even for large inputs.

A bass-reflex system is used for the enclosure, and 18 mm thick MDF is used for the plate material.

The crossover frequency is continuously variable from 50 Hz to 200 Hz and can be adjusted according to the situation of the speaker and the room.

Equipped with an auto standby function, it automatically goes into standby state in a few minutes when there is no input signal.
It returns when a signal is input and starts playback.

Comes with a non-slip foot made of natural cork material.
