Commentary
This is a full auto player with DENON's technology for compact size.
A linear drive motor and bi-directional servo DENON quartz are used for the rotating system.
The DENON quartz is a quartz PLL that uses a magnetic recording detection method for its speed control mechanism. In the magnetic recording detection method, 1,000 magnetic pulses are applied to the outer circumference of the turntable, where speed changes are most easily detected, and checks are carried out 555.55 times per second (at 33 1/3 revolutions). This high-precision speed detection and phase control by crystal oscillation suppress small fluctuations in rotational speed, and at the same time realize rotational accuracy of less than 0.002% rotational speed deviation.
The bi-directional servo DENON quartz used in the DP-7F is designed to respond not only when the rotation is delayed but also when it is too early. It immediately stabilizes at the specified speed when polarized from 44 rpm to 33 1/3 rpm, and also provides a smooth braking effect for electronic brakes.
The arm part uses an electronic contactless full auto arm controlled by a microprocessor.
The arm has adopted a double-action mechanism, and the manual operation and needle tip cleaning are made easier by expanding the vertical movement range by hand.
Uses an electronic needle pressure application method.
Equipped with a quick repeat mechanism that enables repeated performance.
T4P plug-in connector is adopted, and T4P type cartridge can be replaced.
All operations are possible while the dust cover is closed.
