Commentary
MC type cartridge pursuing ideal mechanical impedance reduction.
The stylus tip uses a special elliptical needle with a diamond tip that has a rectangular cross section of 0.1x0.05 mm. This reduces the weight to less than 0.01 mg and improves the mounting accuracy.
The cantilever has a double-pipe structure made of special aluminum. The tip is tapered to reduce weight and improve rigidity through advanced electrolytic processing.
By adopting an air-core type generator coil, the mass balance of the entire vibration system is maintained and the characteristic slack due to split vibration is eliminated.
In order to obtain stronger magnetic fields, we have adopted samarium-cobalt magnets and improved yoke structure.
In addition, we have succeeded to the cross-shaped winding frame, which has achieved great results in the DL-103 series. This winding frame system is symmetrical with respect to the vibration light axis. In addition, by adopting the one point support system, the coil can always be held correctly in the center of the magnetic field, thus providing an advantage in dynamic balance and preventing distortion in the power generation system. In addition, it has the advantage of matching the characteristics of the left and right channels.
