DL-107
Commentary

MM type cartridge using power generation system developed by DENON.

The vibration system has a structure in which the cross-shaped armature wound with the generator coil of DL-103 is replaced with a disc-shaped magnet, and the magnet is replaced with a 6-pole yoke (core) and coil.

The magnetic circuit has an E-shaped structure. Two sets of magnetic circuits are arranged around the disc magnet at 90 ° angles for the left and right channels with a fixed distance. This magnetic circuit structure is unique to DENON and different from the conventional MM type. This improves the high-frequency characteristics and enables record playback with excellent linearity.

It adopts DENON's original double structure cantilever, and satisfies both rigidity and weight reduction of equivalent mass simultaneously.
This reduces the slack in the mid - and high-frequency characteristics due to split vibration and improves the high-frequency characteristics.

The disk-shaped magnet uses an anisotropic lightweight ferrite magnet with strong holding force to reduce the vibration system as a whole and increase output.
