Commentary

The tone arm is aimed at reducing the effective mass of the arm tip.

In addition to an elaborate mechanism, a rigid light alloy pipe arm and a dedicated rigid resin-made head shell are used.
By reducing the weight, the effective mass is reduced and the cut-off frequency is prevented from becoming too low. This prevents the tone arm from being unable to follow due to a sleigh of a record and the needle tip from touching violently.
In addition, in order to prevent partial resonance that occurs when mechanical strength becomes weak due to weight reduction, both material selection and processing are examined, and DENON's unique dynamic damping mechanism is adopted. This effectively suppresses vibration transmitted from the arm base and greatly reduces partial resonance in each part of the arm.

Equipped with non-contact type anti-skating mechanism that can always obtain the cancellation amount corresponding to the moving position of the tone arm.

Equipped with needle pressure adjustment mechanism of 0.1g step scale for easy direct reading.

Uses a low-capacitance (40pF/m) output cord that does not affect wideband playback.

All electrical contacts are made with gold-plated terminals to ensure reliability and stability.
