Commentary

Tone arm with dynamic damping mechanism.

A dynamic damping mechanism is adopted to suppress the influence of arm squeal and howling.
In this system, a damper rubber with appropriate viscosity is inserted between the body of the tone arm and the pipe, which effectively improves vibration problems that were difficult to solve.
The dynamic damping method is less susceptible to vibration noise transmitted from the player's cabinet, etc., and less likely to color the reproduction sound of the cartridge to be used, drawing out the character of the cartridge itself. It also has an effective filtering function against sound pressure from speakers, etc., reducing the natural vibration of each part of the tone arm.

This mechanism cancels the inside force by changing the suction force according to the distance between the rotating drum and the magnet. Since this system has a non-contact structure, it does not impair the performance of the tone arm. It can follow the inside force change according to the position of the needle tip of the record cartridge, so it can obtain an appropriate outside force amount.
In addition, since the cancel function can be turned off with one touch, there is no problem when adjusting the 0 balance.

A micrometer type is used for needle pressure adjustment.

High-quality miniature ball bearings are used for the horizontal rotating bearings in the rotary bearing section to achieve high sensitivity and high reliability over a long period of time. In addition, angular miniature bearings and a hardened and polished pivot are used for the upper and lower movable parts to achieve high sensitivity and stability.
In addition, the bearing is protected by a special elastic body influence of external vibration.

A gold-plated terminal is used for the connection with the cartridge to improve reliability.

PCL-5 is adopted for the head shell.
This head shell is made of magnesium alloy die-cast, and its specific gravity is about 2/3 of that of aluminum, and its rigidity is 2 to 3 times that of aluminum, so it is highly effective in preventing resonance of the shell itself.
