Commentary
A 2-way speaker system in the CL series that employs newly developed units.
It is a sister machine of CL-7, and the same woofer is used for the enclosure of the same size and finish.
A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit has a free vibration of fo = 18 Hz, an enclosure mounted fo = 50 Hz, and a frequency characteristic of 40 Hz to 7 kHz ± 3 dB.
A 6 cm horn type tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit is a free-edge wide-band type using a 1.9 mm diameter duralumin diaphragm. By adding a specially shaped short horn, characteristics of 1 kHz to 20 kHz ± 3 dB are realized.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
