CORAL BX-300
¥ 16,800 (1 unit, sold in May 1968)
Commentary
A 3-way bookshelf speaker system designed around a 25 cm woofer.
A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit is a powerful type of the L series that has been further improved based on the one used in the BX-52. The strain at large amplitude is reduced by using Coral's unique long travel voice coil.
The mid-range is equipped with a 10 cm cone type squaker.
This unit is a closed-frame type to prevent the influence of the sound pressure of the woofer.
A horn type tweeter using an aluminum wire voice coil is mounted in the high frequency range.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex design and is reinforced and sound-absorbent to suppress box squeal.
In addition, the exterior is finished with polyurethane, and a design with a sense of bitterness that matches both Western and Japanese rooms is adopted.
