Commentary

This speaker system is based on the SL 700 and has been improved to increase the completeness.

A 15 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses a perfect one pea scone system without a dust cap. Special scientific materials based on Celestion's unique know-how are used for the cone materials. In addition, the low frequency response is expanded by the double suspension, and the traveling wave on the cone is cut at the edge to improve the performance of the woofer.

A 3.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
It is a self-cooling unit in which a voice coil is wound directly on a 3.5 cm diameter aluminum dome, and the growth of high range is improved.

The input terminal uses an independent bidirectional system for HF and LF.
The network section is designed with two low-pass and high-pass filters at 3 kHz, a laminated core of linear crystal copper wire wound on a square bobbin is used for the choke coil, and a low-loss Solen condenser is used for the condenser.

A newly designed air loam cabinet is used for the enclosure.
The enclosure has vertical 8-shaped honeycomb braces that stiffen the side walls without increasing weight, eliminating cabinet resonance and knock-on effects.
The crossover board, which is usually mounted on the back panel of the cabinet, is also floating mounted to suppress resonance.

An integrated stand is included as part of the speaker configuration.
This stand is made of all-aluminum, the center pole is made of drawn material with a special cross-sectional structure to prevent resonance, the inside of the pole is filled with metal particles and pebbles, and aluminum cast is used for the base and top plate.
For the coupling of the stand and 700 se, the low range is improved by adopting 3-point indication with a co-indicator Nicarpine. In addition, the stand can be firmly fixed to the floor with 4 spikes.
